The challenge
Eighteen months into a Dynamics 365 implementation, the group had configuration nobody trusted, data migration scripts that failed reconciliation, and a business that had lost confidence in the program.
What we did
We re-baselined the program around business processes rather than modules: a four-week fit-gap review produced a credible scope, cut 40% of planned customizations in favor of standard processes, and established weekly demo cadences with the business. Data migration was rebuilt with automated reconciliation reporting.
The result
Go-live was achieved six months after re-baseline, on the revised budget. Month-end close moved from nine days to four, and inventory accuracy rose above 99% within the first quarter.
